What Are We Up To?
- Language: Persuasive Writing as well as Journal writing focusing on a set list of criteria (Capitals used correctly, Punctuation, Minimum 3 interesting sentences, Word Wall Words spelled correctly) Reading response questions continued for both fiction and non-fiction. Reading fairy tales and folktales in preparation for our Reader's Theatre Plays.
- Math:
- Data Management and Probability: describe the likelihood that everyday events will occur (vocabulary: certain, impossible, likely unlikely, equally likely, sometimes, less likely)
- Geometry and Spatial Sense: Location and Movement- describe the relative locations of objects on concrete maps. (positional vocabulary: beside, below, under over etc.)
- Science: Everyday Structures and Materials: Building a structure (garage) that will resist rain (spray bottle) and wind (fan)
- The Arts: Drama and Dance. Reader's Theatre Plays and creating dances with partners and small groups. Following and counting beats.
- Religion and Fully Alive: Created Sexual- Unit in Fully Alive. Religion focus' on continuing our discussing about how we can invite the Holy Spirit into our Lives and how we are thankful for the gifts of God's creation.
- Phys. ed: cooperative games
- Health: Making healthy choices in our lives e.g. exercising everyday.
